Our son, who was diagnosed with autism, was struggling physically and emotionally with the world around him.

Due to his behavioural difficulties and general intolerance to conventional medicine,we decided to try alternative medicine.Since this was all very new to us, we were rather sceptical as to how helpful the homeopathic process was going to be.

Our son has improved enormously in terms of his behavioural issues and general social awareness. He hasn't needed to visit the GP in over 13 years due to his good health and continued improvements, both mentally and physically. I was so impressed by the effect of homeopathic medicine I trained for 4 years at The British School of Homeopathy to become a professional homeopath myself in order to help other families.

For help during labour and for healing post-birth, I tried a labour and birth homeopathy kit and was so impressed with how much it helped during the labour and afterwards that I knew there was something very special and powerful involved in it and loved the idea that it could do no harm but only help which it did enormously! This then prompted me to use it for teething for my child and colds and coughs and common first aid issues.

I currently using it to help treat my autistic child. We are using a particular kind of homeopathy called CEASE therapy which stands for Complete Elimination of Autistic Symptoms. It looks at all the factors which might have led to the condition such as vaccinations and drugs and trauma. So far so good! Watch this space!

Repeated ear infections as an adult (continuing from childhood). Homeopathy was the ONLY treatment that finally cleared up my ear infections for good. I did a homeopathic first aid class as research for my midwifery dissertation "Homeopathy for Pregnancy and Childbirth".

Homeopathy has benefited me and my family, including my autistic son, enormously. I would need a book to describe all the amazing ways it has helped us. It is our first port of call for almost any condition. I used it during pregnancy, during labour, after my son's vaccinations, for all his childhood fevers and infections. I have used it for everything from minor burns and stings, the emotional upset of bereavement, to the menopause.

my child was diagnosed autistic at four years old. I knew a lot of my friends had been treated or had their children treated with homeopathy successfully, so I decided to give it a go, although I had never tried it for myself and knew really nothing about it. I found a homeopathic doctor specialized in cases of child autism through internet and started treatment. My son at this point had no speech, had behavioural problems, poor eye contact and was very hyperactive.

A year on since the beginning of his treatment, my son can speak, his behaviour has improved, he can make friends, play and interact positively with his peers, he is starting school soon and for the first time I think he has a chance of learning like everybody else. In the meantime I was so blown away with what homeopathy can do that I have started to study it for myself and I hope one day to be able to help others with similar problems.

I have now three children, aged 11 years, 9 years and 5 years. My oldest son was diagnosed autistic, from a very young age.He was banging his head against the wall until he was blue and bleeding, he was not eating, he was screaming every day and night for hours, it took us up yo one hour just to put on his socks in the morning because his feet was too sensitive, He had to wear special socks. It took the homeopath a while to find the right remedy, but from the day he got phos. everything changed.He stopped banging his head against the wall overnight and he started eating. Today he ia a healthy happy creative boy, and his autistic behavior is history. We have managed so far without any antibiotics or prescribtioned drugs and use homeopathy as primary care.:-)

Having used homeopathy in the past and knowing of its wonderful effective results on many "impossible" cases, it was with great surprise to learn that it can be applied in Autism as well.
My youngest son is 9 years old and has been diagnosed with atypical autism, GDD, ADHD, ODD and learning and behavioural challenges when he was almost 4. I have met Melissa Wakeling at Teddington Homeopathy in June 2016 as my youngest son has been diagnosed with ASD and all the spectrum associate conditions. Like any other parent out there who lives with autism on a daily basis, I have tried almost everything to help my angel cope better with this condition.
Having met Melissa was the greatest step I could ever achieve for my as well as myself.

What made my son's condition so complicated was that he had high levels of anxiety and ADHD. Transition times for him were very complicated and ended up in aggressive behaviour and self-harming episodes.
Since I have started treating my child with Melissa, I can say that the tantrum episodes have diminished from tenth daily episodes to just sporadic ones, sometimes none at all. I am also applying GAPS diet which I find it does a world of wonders and complements homeopathy on many levels.
